Integrated Optimization of BESS–Server Thermal Management
A joint SK Innovation–VinUniversity project to develop AI-enabled, forecast-driven thermal and energy management methods for integrated BESS and server cooling systems.

THE CHALLENGE
Server cooling and BESS thermal control are often designed and operated separately, causing suboptimal energy use, limited operational flexibility, and higher reliability risks under dynamic electrical, thermal, and ambient conditions.
THE SOLUTION
Develop an integrated physics–AI digital twin framework that coordinates BESS operation and server cooling using AI-based load forecasting, CFD-supported thermal modeling, forecast-driven optimization, and real-time telemetry.
